Field Notes

Description:

Size of a cat, grey fur, black eyes, pink mouth and tounge, prehensile hairless tail, black ears, pink nose and feet. The only marsupial found in the US and Canada. About 2.5 feet long, maybe 7 pounds.

Habitat:

Adaptable, at home in trees.

Notes:

This one was hiding in my gas grill in my backyard wehn my dog discovered it. It was hissinh and growling but I suspect it was very frightened to have been discovered.
