A climbing perennial plant with a woody base and herbaceous stems that twine around fences, other plants and on themselves. Sap white and poisonous. Leaves hears shaped, opposite. Flowers starry, green, white centred and pending. The fruit (which you can see in this picture) has two distinct follicles.
