Description:

It flew by my backyard and deposited some of its eggs on my milkweed plants! It seemed a little worn out and faded, so it must've traveled far. (Or is just old.)

Notes:

I raised the eggs at home and eventually released the newly hatched monarchs into the wild! I documented the life cycle here:
