Field Notes

Description:

They are agile hunters who hunt alone and does not spin webs. They would pounce on their prey or chase after it over short distances.

Habitat:

Was on the ground blending in with the old fallen leaves next to an wood fence. The whole area was surrounded with trees and grass while the ground was covered with a lot of fallen leaves. It was perfect for the Wolf spider to hide with it's natural colors that allowed it to blend in with it's surroundings.
