the_tajminator, I suspect the good folks at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum treat him to an excellent, well-balanced diet. http://www.desertmuseum.org/ This is one of the best outdoor museums I've attended. I am fortunate to be a member and visit frequently. The volunteer docents and entire staff are wonderful people and the organization provides and uniquely wonderful experience for visitors. I appreciate your comments! Regards, Emily
All prairie dogs were extirpated from Southern Arizona. There is an effort to reestablish a colony in SE Arizona grassland, which is their habitat. Nice photo!
