Yes, in the garden from my cousin in Launceston, Tasmania. Tnx!
Looks like a Protea. Was it in a garden? The only places you find the family Proteaceae is in the Southern Hemisphere with many native to South Africa and Australia. Protea are African with almost all of them native to the Cape floristic region.
