Field Notes

Notes:

this squirrel was found on my back patio after I startled the Crow that had it in it's claws. The Crow dropped the Squirrel and flew into the trees, but kept a keen eye on us while we had it's intended meal.

Wonderfull news :-)
Today's check on this little guy is that he has begun to assert himself as dominant among the others he is being raised with. I wish they would let me in to get some updated pictures of him, but it's against their policy.
Nice to hear the story has a happy ending!
did not find parents, took it to a wildlife sanctuary on Bainbridge Island. I checked on him about a week ago and he's doing great and can be released this spring.
Were you able to locate the parents, and did they take it back... if not, will you try raise it yourself?
