Description:

The jumping spiders (family Salticidae) include "more than 500 described genera and about 5,000 described species, making it the largest family of spiders" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jumping_spider

Habitat:

Spotted in large semi-urban yard/garden adjacent to a disturbed patch of remnant forest.

Notes:

The last photo was the first shot taken. The spider was jumping around of course and landed atop another's old "web site".
