Found it among deciduous forest at Buzzards Roost hike - Sac fungi; Fruitbodies (apethecia) discoid (no stalk) 1 to 2.5cm across

Habitat:

Close to rotten hardwood logs in damp forest.

Species ID Suggestions

It's obvious from the photo that these specimens are larger than 2.5 cm across and there is an obvious stem. They look like Royoporus badius to me.
