Field Notes

Description:

The cap is matt red-brown, darker towards centre, and 3 to 6cm across. The gills will turn from cream color to red-brown with age. The fruiting body exudes a milk like liquid when broken. It lookalike some other Milkcaps like L⁠actarius tabidus https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/608188589.

Habitat:

Spruce forest.
