Field Notes

Description:

A 12 mm long white moth with tented wings and a pale yellow head. The trailing margins of the fore wings had a pale brown fringe and two light brown bands with blurred margins running from the tornus to the costa. Each wing also showed two small black patches. <br> The thorax had a thin dark posterior margin. <br> Labial palps were recurved.

Habitat:

Spotted on a black wattle in a suburban nature reserve.
