Field Notes

Description:

These three bushes turned the brightest red-pink color. They look like really tall Nandina plants, with bigger leaves than Nandina. There are red berries the size of green peas. Some leaves were completely red and others were still green on the shade and undersides of the plants. This is the same set of bushes taken from different angles.

Habitat:

These were landscaped plants. They are along a busy road outside the Quaker's Meeting hall.

Notes:

Thanks for the ID Dan. I have seen these in catalogs but never in real life. They are awesome to see in real life - Not what I expected based on seeing them in catalogs for sale and now in real life.
