Description:

Cap 4–20cm across, convex at first with a prominent broad umbo, becoming depressed, the margin remaining strongly incurved, pale yellowish buff when young later more white flesh-coloured.

Habitat:

Habitat in open deciduous or mixed woodland or grassy clearings, often in rings or troops. Season autumn. Occasional. Edible.
