Description:

Pink-ish/ purple-ish, fluffy, cotton-candy-like flowers of about 1 cm (0.4 inches).

Habitat:

Hills overlooking Manila.

These plants have reached just about everywhere. We have them here in Costa Rica in the mountains up to the beaches. My kids love to "make them sleep" when they touch the leaves. They don't like to step on them with bare feet because the always discover this fun plant has thorns!
I have a feeling this is Mimosa sp., not sure what species though.
