Description:

It is actually a different developmental state of the same type of newt shown in the other spotting.

Habitat:

Small pond in garden. Abbey Villers La Ville.

Oh, wow! Thanks for the ID, Henk! Nice I got this one..even though the pics are not so good because it was from above the water :-)
It's certainly not Salamandra and not Triturus cristatus ... For Ichtyosaura alpestris it should actually be quite dark colored... so again we end up with L. helveticus / vulgaris. ;-)
