Description:

El color del fruto, según la variedad, puede ir de verde claro a verde oscuro. La pulpa es blanca, cremosa y moderadamente jugosa, con numerosas semillas de color desde marrón oscuro a negro; el sabor es subácido y delicado.

Habitat:

Jardín Botánico de Valencia.

Notes:

Quechua chiri, "frío, fría", muya, "semillas", puesto que germina a elevadas altitudes.
