Description:
Leaves are floor grounded, tripled, short; stalk is 1-2 flowered; flowers are 3cm "long"; pink-reddish. It blossoms between July and August.
Habitat:
Alps (Julian, Kamnik-Savinja etc), mountains, between rocks
Notes:
This flower is connected to Slovenian legend of Zlatorog (alpine ibex/goldhorn), which was shot by a hunter and it bled this flowers which had healing power and it brought it back to life. Look at this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goldhorn
We call this flower "triglavska roza", which literally means "Triglav flower" (which is the highes mountain in Slovenia).
