Description:

This type of animal was introduced in Costa Rica for field work, and milk production for mozzarella cheese.

Habitat:

Farm Caribbean side.

The Quakers establish here in 1951, in the Cloud Forest, they call Monteverde as that area keeps nice and green even tru the dry season down below... They raise holstein cows, for the production of cheeses and ice cream, The Buffalo can not do well in that elevation.
By the Quakers back in the 1940s who still live there in the Cloud Forest. These are the nice gentle Water Buffalo similiar to what my Granddaughter had. (correct me if I am wrong!)
