Species ID Suggestions

Comments (6)

Think I need better macros for ID or a dissecting microscope
These are most likely Rainbow Brackets, aka Turkey Tails (Trametes versicolor). So many different variations, but I reckon this is a good place to start some research from. Another possibility is Microporus affinis - http://qldfungi.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Microporus-affinis.pdf
Scott, you can't do it at home? Joe
Thanks Joe, wish I had better internet at work
Bracket fungi. Do a search here for "Bracket Fungi" and you'll get tons of photos of the stuff, and maybe an ID for your specimen. Joe
