ArgyBee, This one might be juvenile, so looks different,
Sachin - the Indian myna common around Melbourne, Australia but I'm convinced it is already different from the original stock in India. I watched them for many days near Chennai and Pondy last December and I'm sure the markings are different. Searching pics on google seems to verify less white visible on the sides Melbourne stock. If true I find it very interesting. Thanks for the pics as they make me laugh.
As a girl I used to go into the 5 and 10 stores and talk to the Mynah birds in their cages.
