Description:

Very small about 28 cm.long and 115 g..

Habitat:

streams, rivers and swamps, woodland primarily where logs and tangles are prevalent and where there is dense vegetation that hangs over the water.

It is a beauty! It swims like a duck, but it's shape is different. Is there a bird in it's group with which I could more easily identify. Like Anahingas
