Description:

Found 8 different assassin bugs in our meadow. This is the only one I captured with the wings. Approximately 1 3/4 inch - 2 inches in length. Very aggressive.

Habitat:

2-3 acre meadow on our property

I would guess it's a wheelbug (the angle is weird but I think you can barely see a "cog" in the wheel just of the second leg). Do you possibly have other pictures of this that might help with an ID?
