I didn't know there spiders were in the US, very nice find!
I can't wait to find another one. This was the only one I had ever seen when I was still a little afraid of spiders. So tiny!
I am so jealous of this one Carol!
Wow, I don't know my own spiders. I forgot what this was called. I was thinking it was a Spiny orb weaver. You can't even see the colors or detail with the naked eye they are so small.
nice one Carol!!
Found another photo that is better macro. My photos are such a mess, but I now have over 15 Shamrock Orb Weavers only. But this was my only Micrathena.
I have found myself in a wood completely surrounded by these, thinking, "how did I get myself into this and now how do I get myself out of this".
I can't believe it! This was the one! HA! LOL! It was right across the meadow path and I didn't even see it. You can't see the colors or the shape it is so small. HA! HA! (Although there are others, this one stands out)
You ever walk face first into a web of these and you're like "PLEASE don't let it be on me!"
