Might be a Synclera sp., I found one which looks very fine but the stupid guy comes from Australia which I just noticed after looking through dozens of pictures...
One in Crambidae snout moths. They are small in size.
AHHHH! Costa Rica, not USA, DUH! How about a type of Transparent Moth
Being very curious, I just looked thru hundreds of moth photos from a moth guide and also flickr photos. NONE are like this. Congrats! I hope you solve the mystery.
What a great find Matthew. I can't find anything that resembles this speciman anywhere....maybe you discovered something new!!!
