Assisted by man (as always) Lantana camera has become a major nuisance, invasive in many a fragile ecosystem. Plants like this shouldn't be cultivated in gardens where they can find favourable conditions to grow beyond the garden wall, but that's what our Jackdaw like eyes lead us too. Looking at PN, I'm slightly stunned at the amount of non-native flora being grown in gardens in places that already have a hugely rich and diverse range of native plants. But I guess the lure of the exotic will always be strong.

Yes, it's still possible. It is Lantana. They have spread far and wide. I have seen them all over the world in the tropics, Asia, Africa and even Australia and sometimes they seem to be out in the wild.
But it's native to America as written on wikipedia
and this was the plant spotted by me in wild so it can't be introduced specie in India where I saw it.
