Description:

Floating leaves thick but soft, 1.2–1.8 cm long, wider than long, with sides curved upwardly and inwardly to meet the edges

Habitat:

This plant is living in a stream that feeds into paddy fields

Hi, I'm writing and self-publishing a booklet on aquatic ferns, and I'm searching for images I can use. I don't see any other way to do this, so I'm doing it via a comment. May I use your image of Salvinia cucullata (in b/w), with attribution, of course?
It did look different from our weedy S.molesta here in QLD but I didn't know of another species. Glad I could help a little Viv :-)
