Description:

Lizard found on the outside of a building at the Southwest Research Station in Portal, AZ. "This lizard is found in the sky island mountain ranges of southeastern Arizona at elevations ranging from about 4,300' to over 10,000'." - from Reptiles of AZ website

Habitat:

SE Arizona by the Chiracahua mountains. "An inhabitant of Madrean Evergreen Woodland, Petran Montane Conifer Forest, and Petran Subalpine Conifer Forest communities. It is found in rocky canyon bottoms, on cliff faces, boulder fields, talus slopes, and outcroppings." - from Reptiles of AZ website (http://www.reptilesofaz.org/index.html)

After looking at the info for both Yarrow's and magister I do agree that it is Yarrow's spiny lizard. Thank you both for the ID help!
Yarrow's spiny lizard I think. The pattern is a bit off for magister. Cool looking lizard btw!
Looks like a Desert Spiny Lizard, Scleroporus magister
