Thanks. I'll look into it. It was such a strange-looking plant.
Love these parasites and they're often one of the many treats of poorly drained soils. Shame they weren't flowering yet - a lot of Pedicularis have really cool flowers. Should be able to get an idea of the species from the county records, I would think
