Field Notes

Description:

A perennial herb in the Borage family, to 15 cm high. Stems are grooved, slightly curved, and hairy; leaves are lance-shaped, to 3.5 cm long, ascending the stalk. Flowers are blue, to 1`.25 cm long, tubular, buds pinkish, borne in axillary clusters.

Habitat:

Alpine in moist areas
