Pieridae; Pierinae; Cepora aspasia anaitis Fruhstorfer, 1910.

Habitat:

Spotted visiting flower-beds in our backyard.

Hi Arne, I have done a little digging around and I think you are probably right about the author of this subspecies. So, I have withdrawn my previous comment and I have gone with Fruhstorfer, 1910. I will also avoid the author's name in future spottings unless I am completely sure. Thanks again, Arne.
A beautiful butterfly. Usually I don't use the name of the person who found and described the species because sometimes it seems that no one is completely correct. Johann Friedrich von Eschscholtz had two expedition, from 1815. to 1818 and 1823 to1826 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johann_Friedrich_von_Eschscholtz. So what did he do in 1821?
