Field Notes

Description:

The vines and roots of the plant poison ivy produce numerous ariel rootlets in order to spread root crowns.

Habitat:

Wrapped around a tree on the Eagle Lake trail, the vine was found at the start of the trail and was vined around a decidious tree.
