Description:

Lasiommata megera, the wall brown, is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae (subfamily Satyrinae). It is widespread in the Palearctic ecozone with a large variety of habitats and number of generations a year. With wings closed the butterfly blends in the grey-brown background.

Habitat:

Mediterranean shrubland and pine forest
