No, not fully Snow Goose, but a Snow x Canada Goose hybrid. I have heard of many very similar individuals and this is definitely one. Note the heavy brown body and dark thin neck of a Canada Goose, but the white head, ragged neck feathers, and grin patch of the Snow Goose. Great job! I wish anglers would be more responsible - I used to pick up all sorts of potentially harmful trash from around the lake I used to walk round in my lunch breaks in England during fishing season - lengths of line, empty beer cans, styrofoam containers, plastic bags.....

This one had fishing line wrapped around his knee joint, I was able to remove some of it but he flew away. Pictures were to help the park service help him further. Sweet bird!

looks like a snow goose morphing from the blue/grey to the white! maybe the Lesser Snow Goose Chen caerulescens??
