Field Notes
Description:
The flower is tubular with six tepals and six stamens. The colores are blue and white with a darker blue mid-vein. It has an umbel-like cluster that sits on top of a thin erect and leafless stem.
Habitat:
Spotted in the Wenas Wildlife Area in eastern Washington (Cascade foothills). The habitat is an open pine forest and shrub-steppe.
Notes:
Native to northwestern North America.
