Description:

Orange and black seed bug. Adult and multiple nymph stages present.

Habitat:

Milkweed plants. These on the milkweed vine, Gonolobus suberosus

Notes:

Large number of them on this vine. At least three clusters like this and more scattered around.

Seed pods of vine opening. Juveniles require milkweed seeds .

One to three generations per year. Mating adults spotted on this vine on August 26.
