Description:

Pre breeding plumage. The head has turned to a creamy yellow.

Habitat:

Spotted on the Gulf coast near the Gulf State Park Pier in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

I don't think I've seen anything other than a white pelican, let alone a brown one. They're handsome birds. Great spotting, Brian.
