Is there any reference for this suggestion, and for the presence of this butterfly in the Philippines? Neptis nandina seems to be an old taxon: http://ftp.funet.fi/index/Tree_of_life/insecta/lepidoptera/ditrysia/papilionoidea/nymphalidae/limenitidinae/neptis/
