Description:

Too many green insects in my old photo file. Another mystery one. Is it a type of small meadow katydid or grasshopper.

Meadow in the Poconos

I vote Katydid. The antennae were extremely long. And I seem to remember a photo like this one months ago. Thanks for your help.
This is a nymph (Sub adult) katydid. The adult will have full wings.
Katydids have much longer antennae than grasshoppers. Katydids antennae may exceed their own body length. That being said, it's still difficult to tell sometimes.
