Field Notes

Description:

Decaying, smooth, camel coloured mushrooms about 8 cm across. Short white stem and I could not see a ring. Free, crowded black gills.

Habitat:

Grass berm along side a hiking trail.

Notes:

I think these are Agaricus mushrooms, maybe Agaricus campestris. Though they might be too far gone to tell for certain. Spotted in rural area of Deventer, Holland.
