Field Notes

Description:

I saw this sparrow in a bird sanctuary next to the port of Osaka, Japan, which is not far from the heart of the city. There are a lot of them around here, and though they usually jump around pretty quickly, this one was content to sit on the branch and stare at me for awhile while I messed with the settings on a new camera.
