Description:

Another spotting from the annual meadow cut on the Woodland mound at Kew. These newts were doing very well indeed. We found a nice group of them in a rotting tree stump. Rotting tree=very good habitat for loads of organisms. Unfortunately, you can't always work and take pictures, so this lil' fella's all I got.

Maybe, but it's still surprisingly warm round these parts for the time of year..... The days are drawing in fast though.
Nice, but he must be snuggled up somewhere by now to keep warm.
