Field Notes

Description:

Medium-sized sparrow with rust-brown striped upperparts, conspicuous white throat, and plain gray underparts. Head has black-and-white striped crown and yellow spots between eyes and bill. Short flights, alternates rapid wing beats with wings pulled to sides.

Yes, this full 300mm. I wouldn't recommend getting this model, actually. I have had autofocusing problems three times with it. I'm getting it refurbished and then trading it in for the Nikkor AF-S 70-300mm f/4-5.6 VR most likely.
@Liam, did you zoom too 300mm on this picture?? I'm thinking on getting one myself..
