Taique

That's the funny part, with this plant is that my grand mother taught me about binomial names, and how they are fantastic for referring to plants as they are cross-language. Oddly enough, she in turn, learned about this plant in a garden in England, while having wild specimens but a mile away from her home. I never knew it's local name, but will ask around if they are know for any other name than taike. As you may see, this is a special plant for me.

It is pretty spectacular! I love it's Latin name, never knew is as "taike", as a kid thought Desfonainia Spinosa was a funny name (first Latin name I ever learnt). Will shoot them as soon as I find one.
