Description:
Purple flower growing on the surface of ponds, broad flat leaves.
Notes:
Saw this WATER-LILY (genus Nyphaea) on a pond at Lorong Halus Wetland Park, Singapore. Water Lilies are not really true lilies. They are more like the Lotus, but not the same as the Chinese Lotus used in Asia cooking.
Anyone knows the species ID?
