Description:

Length 180 to 220 cm (with Tail) / Height 75 cm / weight 40 to 80 Kg / Sexual Maturity 2-3 years / Gestation Period 95-105 Days / Food Carnivorous

Habitat:

Leopard is highly adapted animal. Except when mating and when female is with cubs, the animal prefers to remain solitary. Besides the herbivore animals of forest area, it preys upon the sheep, goat and occasionally on dogs, which creates conflicts with human beings.

Notes:

Located at Indroda Nature Park, at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.
Population of leopard is increasing constituently in Gujarat with help of such and other organizations.

You could also take help from online references. I use flowersofindia.in for id'ing flowering plants. I'm sure there might be something on bugs too.
Welcome. Sachin I am good only at birds. So, if you need Id's on other spottings like plants and bugs, you might want to ask other spotters. For e.g: Juan is great at bugs and dan is superb for plants.
