Field Notes

Description:

Found at the bottom of Currie Mountain 20 min from fredericton(N.-B.). The mountain used to be a volcano. The plant had many branches with those little red furballs on it. There was no smell.

Habitat:

I never seen this plant anywhere else but on that mountain.

These are fairly common in my area. You can make tea with the furry seeds or suck the fur off and then spit them out for a sour treat.
