Field Notes

Description:

Epiphyte and lithophyte native to India, Burma, Laos, Thailand, penninsular Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Cultivated species, outdoors in the National Orchid Garden in Singapore Botanic Gardens.

Notes:

Bulbophyllum is the largest genus in the Orchid family with over 2000 species and possibly the second largest genus of flowering plants! This is the first definite Bulbophyllum species on Project Noah!
