Description:

There was around 15 of these Clouded sulphur butterflies puddling in a dry creek bed.

Habitat:

Spotted in the Umtanum creek. Dry creek at this altitude. Above or around 2000 ft a.s.l. Nearby hills are shrub-steppe, with the valleys and creek areas thick with Ponderosa pine.
