Description:

Grey heron fishing in the river behind Via Pergolesi.

Habitat:

Urban riverine wetland

Notes:

The grey heron was quite close this morning. Spotted again in the afternoon we got some more pictures. Comparing the morning shots including a short video with the afternoon shots, they seem almost like two different birds, though both seem to be grey herons.
