Field Notes

Description:

Snowy egrets stand nearly two feet tall and have long yellow legs and yellow feet. While they are tall, they only weigh nearly a pound. Their wings, covered with white feather, can span three feet.

Habitat:

They live in warmer climates in the Western Hemisphere. Those living in the north migrate for the winter to Central and South America.

Notes:

Photos are cropped because I only had my macro 100mm (I was waiting to see a lot of insects, but saw nothing).
